Deal With It

Deal With It® is a unique and innovative behavioural safety programme whose objective is to change people's beliefs and attitudes so that they instinctively behave in a safe manner both at work and in their daily lives.

For behavioural safety training to be effective, the message must be delivered in a clear, understandable way. But it's also essential that participants enjoy the experience if they are to successfully take on board the good practices in their day-to-day activities.

The Deal With it® programme

The programme uses real-life experiences to help participants assess safe and unsafe behaviour - and to consider whether the risks they have taken were acceptable... or whether they potentially placed them (and those around them) at risk.

Deal With It® applies as much to life at home or during leisure time as it does in the workplace - ensuring the safety message remains with participants at all times, not just during working hours.

The programme commences with an initial half-day interactive workshop which is designed to motivate staff into behaving more safely instinctively. Using innovative techniques that include team exercises and a board game, Deal With It® successfully gets the safety message across - but without lecturing participants on what they should and shouldn't do. There are also a number of supporting elements in the programme which address specific aspects of safe behaviour.

Deal With It® Interactive Workshop for Managers

Managers and supervisors, as well as dealing with their own behaviours, have added responsibility to ensure their staff are given the support needed to carry out their work in a safe manner. This workshop emphasises the need for personal safe behaviour and makes managers and supervisors aware of their responsibilities and the importance of safety management tools such as good communication, training and supervision.
